Each year, the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) gathers governmental officials, scientists, and members of civil society around the world to discuss the global agenda on climate action.  

Since 2007, the Delta Electronics Foundation has been participating in COP as an official observer for 16 straight years. Through attending COPs, the Foundation brings the latest climate discussion and in-depth analysis back to Taiwan and publishes articles to track the highlights and milestones during COP on the Low-Carbon Life Blog.

To foster collaboration in innovation and knowledge sharing, the Foundation also hosts or joins various side events and forums during COP, promoting practical mitigation and adaptation experiences from Delta. The topics of these side events include green building (COP21), smart city (COP23), distributed energy resources (COP24), water conservation (COP25), e-mobility (video) (COP26), resilience on islands (COP27), and carbon pricing mechanism (COP28). By 2023, the Foundation has shared 19 side events in UNFCCC COPs, highlighting efforts from the private sector to respond to climate change.
