Climate communication plays a role in mobilizing people to take action to confront the climate crisis. The Delta Electronics Foundation operates Low-Carbon Life Blog and Climate Battle in Taiwan Podcast, aiming to use these platforms to translate the latest climate change issues into languages the general public could understand.

Low-Carbon Life Blog (2007-Present)

The Foundation has been operating Low-Carbon Life Blog for more than 15 years. By publishing articles, the Blog continues to share the latest trends and provide reliable information about climate and energy conservation issues. In 2021, the Blog joined forces with the Environmental Information Center, further diversifying the ranges of the topic, including energy, climate, low-carbon buildings and transportation, biodiversity, and green finance.

Low-Carbon Life Blog has been an influential and trustworthy media for climate-related information in the Chinese community. Senior high school and university platforms and several reference book publishers keep adopting blog articles as teaching materials, further amplifying the influence on high school and college students. By the end of 2022, the Blog had accumulated nearly 5.95 million views.

Climate Battle in Taiwan Podcast (2010-Present)

Since 2010, the Foundation has partnered with IC Broadcasting Co. to produce Climate Battle in Taiwan, one of the first radio programs in Taiwan to advocate for climate awareness and energy issues. In 2021, the program ran on Always on Display (AOD) and multiple Podcast platforms (Apple, Google, Spotify), making it easy for listeners to access on their mobile phones or digital websites.

The podcast mainly focuses on analyzing climate news, summarizing AR6 reports, introducing carbon reduction technology, and tracking updates from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), allowing listeners to keep abreast of the latest trends. The podcast has now exceeded 65,000 annual clicks and was named the most popular one for a few days in the "Nature" category on the Apple Podcast platform (Taiwan zone) in 2022.
