In recent years, climate change and energy transition have become the often-discussed topics in media. To raise awareness on climate change, energy saving, and the topic on trend, Delta Electronics Foundation has launched the Thematic Climate Salon since 2009. By inviting the press media and the public, we hope to participate and brainstorm how to cover high-quality stories about climate change.

In 2009, together with The Foundation for Excellent Journalism Award, Delta Electronics Foundation co-curated “Heading Towards Copenhagen Media Salon & Workshop” to go through the conferences of UNFCCC in order to provide the media and bloggers better understanding and coverage of the UNFCCC COP15 hosted in Copenhagen in 2009.

In 2017, the Foundation held two climate salons. The first one focused on knowledge-sharing of the online feature story Air Raid covered by Mirromedia in the discussion of air pollution in Taiwan. The later salon centered on the feature story The Road to Germany's Nuclear Phase-Out and the data journalism story Low Carbon Vehicle under the Air Pollution.

In 2018, three climate salons were held. The first one concentrated on "Electric Vehicles", and the second one was a streaming LIVE Press Conference on the publication of the IPCC Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C in Incheon, South Korea. The last one is the sharing of report-tracking on UNFCCC COP24 and research case studies of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).

In 2020, centering on industrial energy-saving, the Foundation invited multiple professionals with counseling experiences in the factory end to share their energy-saving knowledge and strategies.

In 2022, the landmark agreement Kunming-Montréal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) was adopted at the fifteenth meeting of the Conference on Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15). Agreed by nearly 200 countries, the latest global biodiversity framework sketched out the mission, vision, and roadmap of the global biodiversity strategies and action plans for the next 10 years. To understand the meaning of KMGBF to private sectors, in April 2023, Delta hosted the climate salon in the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium to discuss the outcomes of CBD COP15 and its impact on corporate business. In June of the same year, the Foundation held the carbon pricing salon and announced the newly published Delta Internal Carbon Pricing Research Report. Later in November, the Coral Salon was held in the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium and the topic is centered on coral restoration research.
