In order to assist the descendants of the national defense force in Northern Thailand to receive a good Chinese education as well as to lay a fair foundation for future development, the Foundation since 2001 provided scholarships for Chinese schools in Northern Thailand to encourage overseas Chinese. Since 2006, overseas Chinese students were provided scholarships to come to Taiwan to study in universities. Additionally, in order to improve Chinese teaching quality in Northern Thailand, teachers' trainings, school building construction, Chinese books, and computer equipment funding were provided from time to time.
The scholarship program provides the grant of NT$250,000 to each graduate student, and is open to applicants between January and April every year.
Since 2008, the British Trade & Cultural Office has been cooperating with the Delta Electronics Foundation to set up Delta /Chevening Environmental Scholarship. Each year, two youth leaders devoted to Taiwan’s environmental protection are sponsored to go to study in the UK.
In lieu of the heated discussions on business environmental ethics, the Foundation in 2011 for the first time to cooperate with Chinese Business Ethics Education Association to jointly launch the project of "Delta Corporate Environmental Ethics Research Grant."
