The Delta Electronics Foundation, in conjunction with Delta Electronics Thailand, has long been involved in the promotion of Mandarin education in Northern Thailand. From 2001 to 2010, to improve Mandarin teaching quality in Northern Thailand, the Foundation provided financial support for Mandarin language schools to train Mandarin teachers, construct school buildings, buy Mandarin books, etc.
Starting from 2006, the Foundation annually awards the "Scholarship for Overseas Chinese Students from Northern Thailand" to encourage outstanding students from Mandarin language schools to come to Taiwan for university studies. Since its inception, the scholarship has entered its 18th year, with six outstanding students receiving scholarships in 2023 and a cumulative total of 144 excellent students benefiting from the program.
The scholarship program provides the grant of NT$250,000 to each graduate student, and is open to applicants between January and April every year.
Since 2008, the British Office has been cooperating with the Delta Electronics Foundation to set up Chevening-Delta Climate Scholarships. Each year, two youth leaders devoted to Taiwan’s environmental protection are sponsored to go to study in the UK.
In lieu of the heated discussions on business environmental ethics, the Foundation in 2011 for the first time to cooperate with Chinese Business Ethics Education Association to jointly launch the project of "Delta Corporate Environmental Ethics Research Grant."
