To search for innovative solutions for a better tomorrow, Delta Electronics Foundation has committed to cultivating young talents through supporting different education programs. In 1995, the Wu Chien-Shiung Education Foundation was created by four Nobel Prize Laureates in tribute to Dr. Wu Chien-Shiung with the aim of talent cultivation and nurturing scientists for next generation. In 1998, the Wu Chien-Shiung Education Foundation further established Wu Chien-Shiung Science Camp to provide students the opportunity to have face-to-face dialogues with distinguished scientists to awaken young talents' interests in science. Meanwhile, high-school teachers are also invited to participate to advance their teaching skills of science to students.
Due to the common vision between Delta Electronics Foundation and Wu Chien-Shiung Foundation, the Foundation has sponsored Science Camp since 2015 and is committed to fostering for the next generation. Every year, there are over hundreds of students participate in the Camp and many of them have advanced their profession and education abroad after graduating from college.
The scholarship program provides the grant of NT$250,000 to each graduate student, and is open to applicants between January and April every year.
Since 2008, the British Office has been cooperating with the Delta Electronics Foundation to set up Chevening-Delta Climate Scholarships. Each year, two youth leaders devoted to Taiwan’s environmental protection are sponsored to go to study in the UK.
In lieu of the heated discussions on business environmental ethics, the Foundation in 2011 for the first time to cooperate with Chinese Business Ethics Education Association to jointly launch the project of "Delta Corporate Environmental Ethics Research Grant."
