Knowledge dissemination is necessary for boosting society's capacity to decarbonize buildings. Delta has held USGBC LEED Zero Course since 2021 to popularize the concept and standard. In 2024, it is accepted by US Green Building Council (USGBC) to become an open learning resource on USGBC's education platform and aims to help professionals in the Chinese circle not only prepare for skills in green building, but also meet the education requirements for the credential maintenance.
Over the past three years, the course had offered the most up-to-date information and teaching resources in net zero energy design. It not merely introduced the criteria to achieve LEED Zero Energy, Carbon, Water and Waste certification, but also used Namasia Mincyuan Elementary School, Asia's first LEED-certified zero energy academic campus, to illustrate details of application. It additionally included side topics such as green construction and circular building, finance for green buildings, smart building solutions, etc., to variegate the contents.
